Health Mapper is an application that lets users track any health condition or conditions. You understand and agree that the Application and the Content are provided “as is”. Health Mapper expressly disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties, to the fullest extent permitted under English Law, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Health Mapper further expressly disclaims any warranties regarding the reliability, timeliness, accuracy, completeness, availability and / or performance of the Application or Content. Health Mapper is not a medical device, and as such is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. You should consult your doctor, or other relevant health care professional, before making any decisions that could affect your health or the health of others.

Modification of Health Mapper

Health Mapper may update, modify, interrupt or discontinue any or all of the functionality of the Application or the Content and make changes, corrections and/or improvements to the Application or the Content, at any time without notice to you. Health Mapper is not responsible for any costs, loss or damage that you incur as the result of any modification, interruption or discontinuance of any or all functionality of the Application or the Content.

Your responsibility

When you use the Application and the Content, you are solely responsible for:

— ensuring that you are using the latest available version of the Application;

— ensuring that all operating systems and security software for the Device are the most up to date versions available;

— any damage to your Device, and any loss or corruption of information that you store in the Device that results from the Use of the Application or Content or the interaction of this Application or Content with other applications or programs that you may download or use;

— maintaining the security and confidentiality of any personal identification numbers, account information, passwords and the like related to your use of the Application or Content;

— maintaining the physical security of your Device; and

— maintaining the security and confidentiality of Personal Information that you store on your Device. “Personal Information” is information that alone or in combination with other information, identifies you or can be used to identify you or your personal characteristics, such as your name, contact information or information about your health that is collected and/or transmitted by the Application.

Health Mapper is not responsible for any costs, loss or damage that you incur as the result of your failure to meet any of these responsibilities.


You hereby release and agree to hold harmless Health Mapper and its affiliates, from any and all claims, costs, losses, liabilities and damages of any sort, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential or otherwise, whether arising in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise, and whether or not Health Mapper has been advised of the possibility of such damages, in each case arising out of or related to your Use of the Application and/or or the Content and from any use that Health Mapper makes of information that you transmit to Health Mapper from or about the Application.

Your health provider

You should always obtain complete medical information from your own doctor or other health care provider. This Application does not offer personalised medical diagnosis or patient-specific treatment advice.

Governance of terms

Your Use and these Terms of Use shall be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with English Law. The parties expressly consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts for any and all purposes related to your Use or these Terms of Use.


If any part or provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability or any other part or provision of these Terms of Use.

How do we collect information?

This policy (together with our Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. Any terms used in this policy shall have the same meaning as those used in the Terms. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and this policy, the Terms shall prevail.

Information we may collect from you

You may give us information about you by entering information through the Application. This includes information which you provide when you register to use our Application and when you report a problem with our Application. The information you give us may include your name and e-mail address, and may also include sensitive information about your health including the symptoms, medication, measurements and variables you track using the Application

For users who register for a Health Mapper account, the data you track within the Application is stored on our UK hosted cloud servers. When the data is being transmitted from the device to the server, or server to the device, it is encrypted using SSL security protocols. Account holders email addresses are encrypted within the database and replaced with numeric IDs.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access our Application, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Information automatically collected by our Application

With regard to each of your visits to our Application, we may automatically collect the following information where this is permitted by your device settings:

1.(a) technical information, including the address used to connect your mobile phone or other device to the Internet, your login information, system and operating system type and version, time zone setting, operating system and platform, your location; and

2.(b) information about your visit, including the symptoms, medication, measurements and variables you track; Application response times and other interaction information (such as button presses).

Apple HealthKit

The Application is also integrated with the Apple HealthKit framework. Health Mapper users can send data to and from Apple's Health app including measurements like blood pressure, steps and walking distance. Health App data brought into the Application is saved in the Health Mapper user’s account. Health App data associated with a user account will not be shared with 3rd parties or advertisers. 

How do we use your information?

The following uses apply only to Health Mapper data, explicitly excluding Apple HealthKit data.

We will use your information (your email address and password) to primarily to provide you with the product and services you have requested. For example, Health Mapper account holders can access their Health Mapper data if they lose or upgrade their devices.

Other uses include:

— review and enhance the quality of our services and products;

— to administer our Application and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, statistical and survey purposes;

— to improve our Application to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for mobile phone or other device; 

— to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;

— for purposes including research, and marketing of the Health Mapper service, subject to such data being anonymised; 

— as part of our efforts to keep our Application safe and secure;

— inform you about similar products or services that the Company or Group Companies provide. You can stop receiving these at any time by contacting Health Mapper or by clicking the unsubscribe link on our email newsletters; and

— inform you about products and services from carefully selected suppliers;

How do we protect personal information?

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to and from the Application, despite SSL security protocols; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access.

Your consent

By providing us with your personal data, including ‘sensitive’ personal data such as on your health, you consent to the collection and use of any information you provide in accordance with the above purposes and this privacy statement.

You also consent to our transferring your information to countries or jurisdictions which may not provide the same level of data protection as the UK, if necessary for any of the above purposes.

If Health Mapper Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, personal data held by Health Mapper about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

Right of access

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, for which we may charge a small fee and to have any inaccuracies in your information corrected.


We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement at any time. If we do, we will post notice of the change on our website or through digital communication to registered users via email.
